Donations

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
(2 Cor. 9:7)

Donations to the church have been a duty of every Christian since apostolic times. Moreover, as mentioned in the Scriptures, the early Christians shared everything they had. The Church could not exist and grow without help and donations.

Our Holy Trinity Parish in Vancouver does not get any official financial support. All you can see in our parish – is a gift. First of all, the gift of God, but also the gift of the people who help at the Church, sacrificing their precious time, their talents and their money.

Expenses for our daily needs including water, power, heating, insurance and other immediate costs are very high.

We need your financial support!
Please regularly donate to our Church.

Many of the parishioners are not well off, but usually put on the weekly Sunday donation plate 10 or 20 dollars and regularly donate for Church repair needs 100, 200, 500 and more dollars. Please give generously, as much as possible. We are grateful for any gift. If you have little money to spare, you do not have to sacrifice more than what you can, but if you have the means, please donate accordingly.

Online donation by Credit card:

Donation by personal or bank cheque. A cheque should be issued to: “Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church”  and dropped off at the candle box in the narthex of the Temple. There you could also get a receipt for your tax deductible donation.

Bank transfer – details can be obtained from the Treasurer of the parish.
